At our ranch in the beautiful Mission valley of western
Montana we have raised registered
Shetland sheep since 1991 and Bluefaced Leicesters since
1999. With the use of imported
semen we have improved our BFLs and built up one of the
largest flocks in the Northwest.
We also raise Registered Purebred and Percentage Lowline
Angus Cattle
and Miniature White Park Cattle

I start at the very beginning of the process by raising my
own sheep. This year the sheep will
be shorn in mid-January in preparation for lambing in
mid-February. Spring is a very
busy time caring for the ewes and lambs and washing and
dyeing the wool to
prepare for felting. It is a year round cycle that keeps me
extremely busy as well as
looking forward to the next spring and new lambs.
