Bitterroot Fiber Arts Studio

Above is
a picture of my studio shortly after it was completed in
early March, 2007. Of course, it hasn't been quite this
tidy since. Several years ago I discovered the fun of
needle felted hats and 200 hats later, my days are full of
dyeing, carding wool and felting. In the spring of 2006 I
hosted felter Julie Williams from Australia for an
intensive week of felting. That July I was blessed to be
able to attend the Midwest Felters Symposium in Madison,
Wisconsin and was able to take classes with Pat Spark, of
Washington State and Ewa Kuniczak, of Scotland.
Below is my straw bale Cottage which has served as display
room for my products and occasionally provides lodging for
guests.
I sell Ashford and Majacraft spinning wheels, accessories
and fiber, both raw and processed, produced by our
Bluefaced Leicester and Shetland sheep.
